I’m Ayush Chakraborty, an Economics student at Durham University building independent work across equity valuation, M&A, restructuring and public finance.
My approach
I use this site to publish the full path from question to conclusion: the written argument, the financial model, the assumptions behind it and the sources used. My aim is to make each judgement specific enough to test and transparent enough to challenge.
Current projects range from valuing a diversified public company to assessing acquisition financing and reconstructing a distressed creditor waterfall. Alongside that work, I write about wider economic questions where corporate finance and public policy meet.
